In this two day course, we will cover:

- Brief discussion of bulk solids flow problems and flow patterns
- Powder fluidization techniques
- Powder sampling and statistical analysis
- Abrasive wear mechanisms and solutions
- Processing vessel design techniques
- Preventing silo failures
- Silo vibration mechanisms and prevention
- Insert designs for bins and hoppers
- Understanding and preventing particle attrition
- Understanding and preventing powder caking
- Discussion of participants' solids handling difficulties and applications
