BULK MATERIALS HANDLING GUIDANCE
Our consulting engineers with specialties
in specific industries provide our clients around the world expert advice on solids handling. Our clients can rely on each of our engineers to quickly
respond, support, and when requested, lead process and engineering
efforts. Each member of our staff delivers decades of experience,
the ability to communicate complex flow behaviors of materials
to all levels of the organization, and the skills to quickly
assess existing and proposed processes and focus on critical
areas of risk or potential improvements from a powder and bulk
solids flow perspective.
Every one of our engineers comes with a core expertise in
powder and bulk solids — science/engineering/design capabilities.
This is what sets us apart from all other consulting and engineering
firms — our depth and breadth of experienced staff specialized
in powder and bulk solids handling.
From innovation or quality initiatives in developing new processes
and long-range product development, to fast-tracked, critical
path projects, start-ups, upgrades, and plant and process emergencies,
our engineers are available to respond to your needs anywhere
on the planet. We routinely conduct plant and office reviews
around the world with short notice.
SITE ASSESSMENTS/VISITS
As part of coming to your site, our engineers provide immediate
feedback about your existing material processing operations
starting with thorough site assessments and detailed observations
of critical aspects of flow in your equipment. As part of the
on-site review, the staff will review flow behaviors of bulk
solids with key personnel (line operator to senior executive
staff).
Part of the deliverable for the on site review is a rational
plan outlining key steps to identify root causes to existing
process limitations or critical risks and opportunities for
new operations, determining critical design parameters for
improving or setting process design requirements, as well as
focusing on short-term as well as long term practical approaches
mated to your site-unique operating requirements.
After gathering data, engineering drawings, process flow details, our engineers continue assisting you by analyzing flow property data generated from our testing services and your facility details and providing further insights and options to your staff for overcoming existing flow limitations, as well as suggesting innovative approaches or simple off-the-shelf solutions for new or improved processing.
Each site is unique and comes with its own set of key technical
challenges.
